Photography

In addition to video work, Kirk is advanced in photography, as he first used a still camera when he was 7 years old, and received his first DSLR camera at the age of 18.

Kirk’s primary focus is trains, as changes in the railroad are fast to occur, and what is common today could be gone tomorrow. To see Kirk’s train photography work (and some video), either head over to Kirk’s railroad blog or to Kirk’s page on the famed railpictures.net.

NW611_Salisbury
Norfolk & Western J-class steamer #611 leads an excursion through Salisbury, NC, early in the morning on April 10, 2016.

More recently, Kirk started bringing his camera to his local baseball teams’ games in hopes that it would help bring in sponsors. While a handful of the pictures were taken by other players, Kirk did the majority of the heavy lifting.

In addition to photography, Kirk did a lot of graphic work to post, both within the team and within the league. To view both the photos and the graphics, head over to the team’s Facebook page either by clicking here or the team page link at the bottom of the site.
